A Day in the (NY) Life

So, they’re raising the subway fare again? Will that mean more service? Better service? Safer service? Of course not. Let’s say you’re NYC mayor and you want to institute a regressive tax on your city’s poor and middle-class residents without actually evoking the word “tax.” Easy, call it a “transit fare hike.” Rich people don’t usually ride the subway…



So, the Mets got Pedro Martinez? Yankee fans, stifle those giggles as Pedro disappears into a baseball alternative universe where he will never again have an impact on who wins the Series...and say hello to our new friend, Randy:
