A different type of Xmas

To mark the first Christmas without my Mom, Michele and I are volunteering to help distribute meals to people who, “because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.” I’m pretty certain my Mom would approve.

Anyone else wanna share their holidays plans or offer other simple, entirely doable ideas for helping those in need?

In the meantime, here’s a whole bunch of holiday-related crap:

The concert will showcase a rare all-star lineup headlined by Thinning the Herd featuring four other popular hard working bands on the NYC rock scene. Between sets, comedians and public speakers will talk about animal rights, vegetarianism and humane lifestyles.
