Adds nothing of value to the world

(Storytelling Saturday just does it)

Once upon a time...

I was walking through midtown Manhattan when I found myself smack dab in front of Niketown. Right on cue, a guy comes out of the store wearing a Nike t-shirt. Think about this, sports fans: You buy a Nike t-shirt and wear it maybe thirty times in a year. Nike, a massive company with Third World factories that pay the oppressed locals $1.35 a day to make sneakers that retail for one hundred times that amount, is using little ol’ you as a billboard to advertise their over-priced products and not only are you doing this without charging them for your advertising services, you actually paid big bucks for the fuckin’ shirt. By purchasing that flimsy Just Do It t-shirt, you have just shelled out good money to earn the dubious right to advertise the useless products of a multi-billion dollar corporation that not only adds nothing of value to the world and increases the misery level everywhere from South Vietnam to South Central.

That’s it...I forgot my damn story anyway…

Who else wants to spin a yarn?
The comments section awaits...

Are you wearing fur but don’t know it?

Question: Who’s on first?

And finally: Welcome to the Big Apple...
