All the cats that feel me say "ofay"
I’m not exactly sure how, but I recently discovered an intriguing description of myself on the Web...courtesy of New Standard writer Christopher Getzen. At his blog (http://dextrslab.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_dextrslab_archive.html), Getzen declared that James Baldwin might have called me “Counterpunch’s sweet little ofay cat.”
At first, I must admit I had no clue what the hell he was talking about...but after some Googling, I ascertained that “ofay” is not typically a compliment. I couldn’t find a “contact me” link at Getzen’s blog, so I haven’t been able to ask him why he chose this particular characterization.
