Attack of the Birthday Weekend™
Last year, I told you about the Birthday Weekend™. Well, here we go again (as RMJ reminded you, my b’day is April 30). Even though things will likely be more mellow than in the past (it’s been a long year), Michele and I started the festivities early with a local bargain matinee of American Dreamz late yesterday afternoon (not the best ending, but I’d still recommend it). Stay tuned for word on what the next few days bring us...maybe another movie, hanging out with friends (like Rich and Lisa), plenty of good food (e.g. Foodswings), a walk through Socrates Sculpture Park, or perhaps even a return to the batting cage.
Also, there’s a Saturday night party in the People’s Republic of Brooklyn...hosted by the one and only Seth Asher at which we will be joined by Expendable James, the Cat Lady of Hell’s Kitchen.
What I’d like to know is how each of you choose to celebrate (or not celebrate) your birthday? Does one particular birthday stand out? Tell us about it in the comments section.
