  1. Good morning Mickey, thanks for the space...here goes:

Hello Expendables, our mutual overlord, Mickey Z, has given me permission to whore myself to you all.
Please check out http://www.amovingtrain.com. This is where I challenge a certain culture. A culture that is insane.

  4. Mickey, FOR SURE, I am with you. Think about how many people need to be “rescued” from a hostile system - a large percentage of those in prison, Katrina victims, those who will die from lack of health care, all of those who are being tortured, the homeless, the people of Iran who now have a NEW threat from the Pentagon, all future generations who will live in a damaged ecological environment… the list is endless. VOTE FOR MICKEY Z FOR PRESIDENT 2008.

    MICK Z HE’S OUR GUY
A CANDIDATE NO ONE CAN BUY
HE’S READY TO COME TO THE RESCUE
OF ALL PEOPLE, ME AND YOU

Good Morning, Maxwell - My computer is running slow and I could not open your link. I will try again later.

Richie, today is sad but maybe hopefully soon the sun will shine again on you. I am with you in spirit.

  5. MZ, the Rescue Party is a great idea. Instead of campaign signs, RP workers can wear day-glo vests, life jackets, or something similar. The campaign lit could be CD’s with the Constitution, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, some Darwin and Derrick Jensen, and whatever else fits (virus-scanning is mandatory!).

    I’ll spread the word.

Richie, I think words are inadequate during really difficult times, but I wish you strength and some life-affirming moments.

Maxwell, your t’s are sweet. I’m a longtime t-watcher and had a screenprinting hobby a while back.

Last Note: I was lucky enough to see Lewis Black on Sunday, and he was outstanding. His performances on DVD are great, but in person you see his great stage skills and presence. I’ll post some bits in the coming days…

  6. Even if we really had a 2 party system, what’s so friggin’ good about that?
That’s just one more party than in a 1 party system.
I think we need a 300 million party system.

  7. Hello Expendables. The weather is once again near-perfect in NYC.

Let me again express my conndolences, Richie. I wish you strength.

RMJ: Thanks for signing on. I’m not sure what that means but hey, here we are. Maybe as “Dick” sez: we’re doing our part to create a 300 million Party system.

Zen: Love the day-glo vest idea.

Maxwell: Glad you joined us. Now be sure to tell your readers to vote for me.

    Captcha sez: done

  8. Good afternoon everyone...Hi Richie, I came from my mother’s womb, I have a sense of what you’re experiencing???

I agree, the one party system, with different colored ties and panties shouldn’t be in our consciousness. It shouldn’t BE…

The title of the man’s commentary is, ‘Being Evolution’ Memory jogging v.s. seeing beyond the ordinary.

So the lady, activist, tells me about her father’s book, then directs me to his website where I can purchase the book.

I can’t afford a website or a book. Her husband has a business in Europe...could she afford to lay this book on me? Everyone is out of sync...what’s cold to someone is hot to someone else. What is unethical to someone is reasonable to someone else.

Some people are clinging to the 1 party system, others are working toward a future which does not include corrupt political systems and the institutions that support earth destroyers for profits.

We can’t scratch our butts because the armor is too thick…

So when are we going to BE what we have yet to become?

  9. I’ll be sure to get all 25 of my “readers” to vote for you. I’ll vote for you if I can be first lady!
    kisses
    Max

PS: thanks for the compliment Zen Prole. I have 400 of them, so feel free to tell a friend!

  10. I already have a First Lady...but then again, what kind of prez would I be without a few more?

  12. You have my vote, Mickey…

Has anyone seen the brilliant comments to this on Daily Kos? Joe, should Kos be prosecuted?

Ball of Confusion, that’s what the world is today. Hey hey.

Posted by James from Hell's Kitchen  on  09/05  at  02:24 PM
  13. James..12...I don’t know Kos...prosecute him!

Posted by joe of maine from   on  09/05  at  02:49 PM
  14. Robert: Vote for both of us. Why settle for only one vote?

James: It seems JOS left a strong comment at Kos.

  15. Hi y’all. Mickey- how about before you run for politics, how about you proove you really exist. Post up on your site a live interview. Then we’ll know you are real. How can we donate money to your campaign if we do not know you really exist. I’d love to give you all my savings, but how do I know you exist? Has anyone ever seen Mickey Z live? I can not find one live radio or C Span interview. Someone help me here. Thanks babes.

  16. Richie...thanks for signing on as my body guard. That a tough assignment. (Thanks for being in touch here on a difficult day for you and your family. Hugs.)
Zen...I hope you got some real belly laughs on Sunday. Black is quite a performer.
    James...how’s work today?
    Hi...Robert and Max
Dick...you sound like my favorite radio performers - the Car guys, Click and Clack. They say that we should eliminate the government and break up into groups of 10, because anymore than 10 is too many to organize.
joe #8...Your comment reminds me of a sign hanging in my house that says, “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.”

  17. Hi Y’all.

Mickey (#14) - yeah and I even was able to stop myself from adding “you fucking morons!” to the end of my comment.

  18. JOS...where you been?
Here’s a link to a news story that reminds me of a situation that was reported about 25 years ago when I lived on the Jersey coast. It was then reported that some nukes had been lost many years prior and they were “someplace” there in the ocean. Nobody knew where, and nobody knew how being in the salt water would affect them. Folks who lived there then would go to bed a night and just wonder about those bombs.

  19. Good Evening Everyone...RMJ...17...I don’t have a sign like that in my house. If I did, it Might say…

You can be and do anything, defined by you

Not defined by authority or monetary system.

Being is constant with subtle changes, cooking one minute...repairing a wool sweater...fixing a pipe, examining my thoughts, sharpening a wood chisel…

Posted by joe of maine from   on  09/05  at  05:41 PM
  20. joe...defining one’s self, is an art that many can never achieve - but life improves just by making the attempt. I will try harder. I know that I am only a “work in progress”.
The last part of your comment reminded me of a neighbor that I used to have. When I first moved to Vermont, I met a man who made his own soap. I thought that that was very special.

Posted by RMJ from Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts  on  09/05  at  06:07 PM
  21. RMJ...20...Making soap can be neat...I looked at some recipes for soap...appears easy.

  22. Good one, JOS, now I can’t wait for all these cofrontational Daily Kos kids make good on their claim to want to hear more and so come on over here… riiiight.

And I know I shouldn’t feed the troll, but man this Bob/Alison character’s getting old. I don’t know if he/she genuinely has some burning desire to see Mickey in person, or if h/she thinks they’re being funny, but whatever. I’ve met Mickey in person, I’ve had dinner with him, and introduced him when he spoke from his last book at Barnes and Noble. He’s real, okay? Really.

  23. Thanks for todays fun Mickey! It was nice having actual humans hitting my site. I do believe I owe you a certain “ninja” shirt. Give me your PO Box and size. That was a blast, I’ll start playing with you cats. It seems like a safe zone.

    lot’s of love

    Max

  25. I’d wonder if those two bottles of filtered water are going to be recycled.  And who is going to pay for the petroleum that makes the bottles, and its production?
