  1. Sorry I have been mostly absent lately.  Hope all are well.

    Today is the 7th anniversary of the war in Iraq.  With what we’ve spent there we could have solved the health care crisis 10 times over.  If whatever “our” politicians are working on passes today or soon all we’ll get are some small concessions and then write a big old check to the healthcare industry.  I know...nothing new to the crew here.

  2. What can I say about this post, Mickey?  I could start by saying that I don’t have a licence but Mr Helga does.  He is a self-employed tradesman and needs a commmercial vehicle just for his tools.

    And welcome back, JOS - I hope you are well.  I could not agree more with what you write about the Iraq war and its costs.  As Dennis Kucinich asked not so long ago:  ‘How come there is always money to fight wars but never enough for education and health?’
