  1. Good afternoon Mickey on another very hot day and a UV index in the danger zone, like always.

  2. Good morning Mickey. I hope everyone is not on facebook....I must be candid..., from what I’ve read about facebook, I have yet to visit that site..., I don’t think I will, in fact, I don’t even like the name.

The weather today, for a change is very pleasant. I just finished renovating a bird feeder. There are many Gold Finches here this morning as well as other birds. The Sun Flowers are blooming..., our little paradise looks and feels great.

  3. Hi Joe,

I, too, avoid facebook like the plague… preferring to engage in *real* life these days…

...and I used to be a “beyond teh bleeding edge"(sic) geek.

I am just reading that a large brush fire burning west of Palmdale is threatening the power supply to all of Southern California.

It’s good to know that we humans, in our infinite wisdom, built such resilient systems…

    Oh, wait…

  5. Hello from Texas y’all.

  6. Hello Mickey in Texas, see any oil?

I know a lady that just moved to Texas 2 months ago..., she’s returning this month. She says she doesn’t like anything she discovered. This might have been one of those escapes from being overwhelmed and poorly thought out as I know very well from some of my horrible decisions.

From some brief research due to an airplane manufacturer coming to Brunswick, Maine, it seems like the entire universe is into making and buying weapons for war. The drone, UAV industry is huge in many countries. SCARY

    Until later...,

  8. Hi all…

Mickey...I think it is great that you are helping your Dad!!!

joe… Burlington VT has been selected to be a base for the new fighter jets.
On the other end of the State Pentagon contracts have been awarded for other weapons of war. Any discussion about this is verboten. It means jobs.
Does anyone remember the film about the Holocaust and the character Eric Dorff?  He was an otherwise nice guy, who happened to be a Nazi. He needed the job to support his family.

Here in Daylesford it is very cold - only about 40F now, and nothing warmer expected for the next week. Brrr ..

And hello, Joe of Maine, subgenius, Charles, Michael and Rosemarie.
