  1. Paper money, coins, pictures of dead presidents who were never alive. We’re told this currency is backed by gold or silver which are simply by-products of rocks...so what!

Both forms of exchange are reinforced by the same brutal authorities and TRUST? Trust in what...,who? In fact, these man-made systems of exchange, that are for the benefit of the tyrants and the priests help reinforce distrust among citizens. Shall we all continue to obey?

  2. It amazes me how gold is thought to be rare, when it’s available on every high street. Same goes for silver. Can anyone tell the diference between silver jewellery and stainless steel? or aluminium? I can’t.

  3. It’s all part of the mass hypnosis that we call “society.”

  4. Wouldn’t be difficult to satisfy my demand for gold cos i don’t have or want any.

Tangentially related… I heard a funny thing about alchemy recently.

Suppose it was possible for a moment to turn lead into gold. Everyone would do it and there would be gold everywhere so its value would plummet. You would go the bank and they would say “Can’t take if off your hands, we’ve got tons of the stuff.....but if you’ve got any lead???”

  5. As we all know, and I don’t know why I’m stating this, the predators, the greedy, the insane..., they want all of everything..., lead, gold, uranium, all the ores, all the gases all the countries, all the people. They want to make all the rules and they want everyone to obey their rules. Pretty god damn pubescent like, if you ask me.

  6. Precisely. Even if many of us opted out as Michael did, the relentless raping of the planet continues.

  7. Interesting comments and article. I’ve thought about this a lot. A lot of ‘value’ is outdated abstract ‘agreements’.

I still think the greed merchants can be scuppered right now by a shift to less consuming. The economy is in turmoil and if huge amounts of people opted not to buy, it would kill them off.

But wait ... then our rulers might do something like ... I don’t know, plunder billions of tax dollars and just give it away to banks.

No, surely if that happened ‘the west’ would be torn apart by revolution and change.

  8. In other news, Spain’s most celebrated Bullmurderer .. I mean, fighter, is in critical condition after being gored.

    Full article

I have no sympathy. The article is pretty bad although it does bring itself to mention that the Catalan region has all but passed law to ban the ‘sport’ and a national debate has been triggered.

I just hate all the hypocrisy. read the article and it’s quotes. people shocked there was so much blood, his father crying. The bull usually gets the entirety of its blood spilled slowly over a long period of time, and those same people are whooping and cheering.

    Fuck them, really.

  9. Morning Andy,

Speaking of Spain (well, the Basque country to be precise) I have a little something on opednews. Votes etc appreciated (it is less than a 100 words and is about the anniversary of something important today)

  10. Agreed, Andy. Matadors get what they deserve when they’re gored.

    Michael: I voted.

  11. I agree Andy and Mickey...If people don’t purchase, the tyrants would create laws forcing people to buy. The auto insurance industry jumped on this 35 years ago. Guaranteed profits with a product that’s mandatory by the laws of the parasites.

Bullfighting, animal torture of all sorts is just another symptom of mans stupidity, cruelty and the need to evolve. Just like events where people line up and then slam into each other with an occasional pause to command viewers to go to Best Buy and spend money.

Shall we continue to love our athletic heros?
