Arlington Barnes & Noble (March 27) videos
Judging from the lack of comments, I can only imagine that my videos have rendered all visitors speechless.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 03/31 at 05:50 PMThanks for just making me laugh, Mickey! ‘Speechless’ is the word, although I can at least type, and one word: WOW!
Keep up the good fight!
Posted by Helga from Daylesford, Australia on 03/31 at 10:40 PMProbably right, MZ. It’s merely your usual, high-standard, great stuff. Well done!
Posted by Keir from here and there on 03/31 at 11:38 PMGreat freaking videos amigo! (Or great freaking videos Mickey, Michele, Hand and NANCY!)
I love the way that you’ve mixed the talk up. Though the comments were troubling, “The words you are using make me feel bad, so, they must be wrong, because I’m clearly so good. My lifestyle is based upon positive Images and Ideals. I have black (upper middle-class) friends, every few years I see a Michael Moore film and comment that he is ‘a little out there’ and way too ‘radical’ but I enjoy his spunky spirit.” Or, “Obviously I’m pro-environment, anti-racist, pro-labor…I voted for Obama.” Poop.
It sucks that I couldn’t be there. That block is literally where I wasted most of my adult life.
For Arlington trivia: in the video to Mickey’s eight o’clock used to be an empty parking lot with an awesome bike shop and to his five o’clock was an adult education center (now a parking garage.) Progress.
This is also the Barnes and Noble that I bought my first Mickey Z book!
Anyhoo, I’m trying to talk Mickey and Michele in to coming back to DC for a revolutionary block party vegan weenie roast this summer. Let’s set the streets of Arlington (or DC actually) on FIRE...non-violently (I mean Non-Violently) of course.
Solidarity and Love

Posted by Maxwell Black from Arlington Va on 04/01 at 01:50 AMThanks, all.
Maxwell: Tell me more about this block party idea. If you have time, tell me here so others can chime in, okay? I was also bummed to not see you. A good friend of mine also just became a Dad in DC and I was hoping to introduce you two.
