  1. So weird you posted those videos, because I was watching the same sort of videos last night.

Here’s one of ants going to down on a gecko.

And I’d totally be down for meetups.

  2. Thanks, Charles. The dangerous thing about YouTube is getting yourself caught into clicking on related videos and before you know it, a hour of your life has passed. Then again, if I enjoyed the videos maybe it’s not a dangerous thing. Who knows?

As for meet-ups, once we have a few more interested parties, maybe we can plan to hang out.

  3. I have an aversion to dramatizations of animal behavior. I love wildlife videos, but when the narrators come in and try to build things up like it was a pro-wrestling event, I have to tune out.

I’m certainly interested in meeting up. But I’m not nearby. I might pass through at the right time though, so be sure to keep me in the loop.

Nancy, great work! A much-improved look, to my eyes.

  4. Yeah, the voiceover on those animal vids can be ridiculous but I’m endlessly fascinated when I discover creatures like the giant centipede.

Keir, keep us in the loop as to when you’d be in NYC, okay?

  5. Hmm...so much for this approach, huh? Guess the creepy videos aren’t exactly conversation starters.

  6. maybe what is needed is a musical interlude:
