Electile Dysfunction
Hi Mickey...hope the surgery goes very well for ...scary...I’ve had a shoulder problem for well over a year now...I don’t think about surgeons.........?
Posted by joe of maine from on 03/24 at 09:08 AMHave any of the nice candidates stated their views on Whaling...you know, the Killing of Whales for profit...the killing of perhaps the most intelligent being on this ailing planet?
Have any of these criminals given their opinion on killing anything...have ‘they’ normalized their homocidal tendencies to the extent slaughter is no longer a conversation piece?
What else haven’t these whack jobs expressed?
Posted by joe of maine from on 03/24 at 12:02 PMHey Joe. Even that noted environmental hero (sic) Al Gore was pro-whaling. I’ll bet those whales really regret not evolving opposable thumbs, bipedal locomotion, and capitalism, huh?
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 03/24 at 12:09 PMI remember seeing gore in the debates...with his ‘learned’, debate walking style...as if a proper walk would instill confidence in the viewers....harpoon gore!
Posted by joe of maine from on 03/24 at 01:36 PMone good essay deserves another:
(One od many reasons I love helping Cindy is that there is a usually a Jackson Browne tune playing at her campaign headquarters. Love his music-- very California.)
Hope Michele’s surgury is a success--
best wishes--
Posted by Robert B. Livingston from San Francisco, California on 03/24 at 04:46 PMA million big hugs to Michele. Keep us posted.
joe...the whales should be allowed to vote.
Hi… Robert.
Mickey...You have livened up DV with your article.
Posted by RMJ from Ward Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 03/24 at 04:52 PMToday is the anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero.
PBS Frontline tonight might be worth watching.
captcha word is “mass”....The archbishop was assassinated while saying Mass.
Posted by RMJ from Ward Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 03/24 at 05:22 PMHello Expendables. Thanks for the good wishes. I’ll keep you in the loop as best I can.
Archbishop Oscar Romero sez: “I do not believe in death without resurrection. If they kill me, I will be resurrected in the Salvadoran people.”

Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 03/24 at 06:04 PMVoting over an entire weekend is a great idea - add to participation and muck up the TV networks mucking up the process. Crucifixion for private money in elections would go well with that.
RMJ #6 & 7: one of my all-time favorite pieces of indigenous wisdom is “Who speaks for [nature]?” I saw the advert for Frontline as well, and it might be interesting, if only for posterity.
Best wishes for Michele’s surgery, MZ.

Douglas Adams says:
“For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on - whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same reasons.”Posted by Mew from a desert in London on 03/25 at 10:55 AMHOW’S MICHELE?
Hi to all....
Today’s article
http://mwcnews.net/content/view/21187/26/Posted by RMJ from Ward Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 03/25 at 11:28 AMNice article RMJ.
war is only romantic and glamorous for soulless chickenhawks(shits) like the Cheneys, Bush’s, Kagans, Kristols etc.
Hope Michele is doing well!

Posted by Robert B. Livingston from San Francisco, California on 03/25 at 05:25 PMbtw-- glad Donahue’s back--
thanks for the news!
Posted by Robert B. Livingston from San Francisco, California on 03/25 at 05:28 PMThanks, Tommy and Robert. I hope he gets back on air. He was the only one who had a communist/socialist co-host. Anybody remember Vladimir Posner?
Posted by RMJ from Ward Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 03/25 at 05:33 PMJust back from another excursion to Melbourne where I exchanged one defective DVD for - another defective DVD. Never mind: ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ set in 1944 Spain is a great film - must be a very bad batch.
And before I forget: best of luck to your Michele, Mickey!
Hi to Joe of Maine, Robert B. Livingston, Rosemarie, richie, James, Zen Prole, Mew and Tommy from a much cooler Daylesford: a mere 68F today, which suits me fine. Our computer keeps playing up, especially in the email department, so I might give our computer ‘wizard’ a call shortly.
Take care!
Captcha ‘language’: Mr Helga thinks I use the ‘f’ word much too often ..
Posted by Helga Fremlin from Daylesford, Australia on 03/25 at 06:05 PMHelga...22...the F word is simply another sound, another vibration...I say it perhaps too often...but how do I know if it’s too often? Say hello to Mr. Helga.
Posted by joe of maine from on 03/25 at 06:41 PMI well remember Posner-- even back when he was a commentator on the English service of the Soviet Radio Moscow: quite an erudite and interesting person… and curious to a degree: as are most people who do not fit into neat little boxes.
Here’s a news flash:
Hillary is related to a Chicken…
Obama is related to an egg…
Don’t ask who I’m related to! Some secrets are best kept hidden!
Like the old saying says: small minds discuss people… average minds discuss events… great minds discuss ideas…
I want to be related to ideas! (And I am not adverse to simply listening-- especially to good music....)
Best wishes again....
Posted by Robert B. Livingston from San Francisco, California on 03/25 at 06:45 PMbtw-- I am not related to Winthrop Rockefeller....
ta!
Posted by Robert B. Livingston from San Francisco, California on 03/25 at 06:50 PMHello everyone. We just got home. Long day. Lots of delays. But the end result is that the surgery went well and next up is the rehab. Thanks for all your good wishes. I’ll try to write a better update soon.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 03/25 at 08:41 PMBest wishes to Michele.
