Fourth of July Weekend (blah, blah, blah)
Howdy Mickey, The Kerouac quote is great. Just think how bad it’d be if we all sat around watching Idol and then flicking over to Fox/CNN/BBC to keep ourselves up to date on what we’re supposed to be scared of.

Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 07/03 at 03:12 PMGood morning everyone. I’ve found myself this anniversary weekend for 235 years of nothingness and lies reading myths of Gandhi, looking at motorcycles and listening to music by Van Der Graaf Generator. First time in about 35 years that I heard this stuff. I’m also a sucker for the sound of a Hammond organ, probably always will be.
I guess today, the desperate, the weak, the liars will parade and smile instead of crying out their lifelong repressed emotions of fear, sadness, rejection, disappointment, loss, then back to wark tomorrow for 8 more hours of dehumanization, abuse and bad coffee, telling lies to make a living. I’ll wait for a spark of awareness beyond it all.

Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 07/04 at 01:39 PMHi Mickey...yes it’s very hot here on the coast of Maine. Fortunately it can cool down very quickly in the evening.
I guess everyone is feeling the heaviness of all that’s happening on this planet and to the planet. If there was ever a need for a huge cosmic shift, it certainly is now, and part of now is NO.

Great Kerouac quote, MZ. I gotta work on my inspired craziness.
Here’s a column that should be widely read:

Great Kerouac quote.
I spent the 4th - after doing what needed to be done - reading NO INNOCENT BYSTANDERS. It was a perfect book, on a very nice day, on my porch, surrounded by flowers, trees, chipmunks, rabbits, deer,.... Best holiday I have had in a long time.
Thank, Mickey.Posted by RMJ from Ward Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 07/05 at 03:53 PMSupposed to be “Thanks, Mickey.
