  1. I became your fan, Mickey.  I’ll also suggest it to others.

Cool PG article, although I was surprised to see Arianna Huffington in there.  I’m trying to think of another person you could have put in there instead.

  2. Thanks, Charles. I was trying to have at least one woman in there and that was the best I could do on short notice. I’d love to hear other suggestions.

  3. I’ll friend you as well, MZ. Nevermind the semiotics of Facebook...it will give you a little more exposure.

Love the transformation stories, too. Today’s empire = tomorrow’s compost. (captcha sez ‘policy’)

A Day Late, An Equality Short Dept: the article about MLK that kicked off my alt.media and radical life...I was tacking that way anyhow: http://tinyurl.com/ycv5ynl

MA has been a blast- catching up with friends, watching the joke of a senatorial election, enjoying a minor snowstorm, thanking sonny Jebus I got out to Seattle. And I’ve got one more day.

  4. Thanks, Zen. Does this mean you’re “friending” my page or my fan page?

  5. Sorry Mickey, don’t use it. I use twitter instead.

  6. How does one actually receive “tweets”?

  7. Hi Mickey I’m a friend and fan. Suggest linking your you tube raps on facebook then I’ll reccomend you to my friends list and perhaps you’ll get the exposure you should be getting. Good Luck at your reading.

  10. I have been a fan of yours since I first laid eyes on this site, Mickey!  Although I have a few ‘friends’ on facebook, I rarely go there, though - I might have to change my habits now.

Just back from Melbourne - where my mother-in-law is not too good.  All we hope for is that she’ll be around on Friday to see one of her grandchildren with his Indonesian wife and baby.  Keep your fingers crossed.

And hello, Charles, Zen Prole and Bob T. - from Daylesford where it is overcast but dry.  Better than the 104F we had Monday before last ..

  11. Best wishes, Helga, to you and yours.

  12. hi Mickey,
thanks. Just added your page to my Facebook account. Although I have mixed feelings about social networking, I find it to be a good information-sharing tool. Plus, being in academia it seems impossible to avoid...ha ha. Thanks for all of your great insights.

  13. Thanks, Noah.

Btw, I added the link to my YouTube vid under my photo on both Facebook pages. If someone has a better suggestion, I’m all ears.

A new blog post is now up so I’ll see you there.

  14. Refraction of a wave occurs at the surface between two media of differing densities. When going from a denser to a rarer medium, say from glass to vacuum, total internal reflection occurs, due to refraction beyond the critical angle.
