I just got interviewed
great interview. Loved the end particularly.
Just one small thing, i understand what you mean about awareness but then I saw this…
http://bit.ly/coBFOSPosted by michael from scotland on 08/18 at 11:09 AMGood comments Mickey...I’m letting my blood pressure lower after just getting off the phone with some dumb white bastard in Brunswick, Maine, whose government is comprised of bored children thinking they have the capacity to make decisions for the towns people. It’s damn near impossible to have a conversation with these people..., their awareness is zero and they frighten easily = feeling threatened by anything that is slightly unfamiliar which is damn near everything.
Posted by Joe of Maine from on 08/18 at 03:45 PMThank you, Michael and Joe. It’s nice to hear from folks like you who “get” it.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 08/18 at 04:05 PMGreat interview as always. And, more importantly, you introduced to yet another person whose work I want to read, that of Frank Joseph Smecker.
Posted by Charles from Jersey City, NJ on 08/18 at 06:16 PMThanks, Charles. Frank’s very cool. An Expendable at heart.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 08/18 at 06:18 PMyou do all know that now there is this film the expendables we have been robbed of our inheritance?
Posted by michael from scotland on 08/18 at 07:17 PMI say we go into training and take back our name.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 08/18 at 07:20 PMi am having a nice time listening to Fido’s 9th symphony.
Posted by michael from scotland on 08/18 at 07:22 PMactually, this is one of the reasons i hate the supposedly normal left.
beethoven was one of the most furious revolutionaries who ever existed and his music reflects that.
not enough people get that.
Posted by michael from scotland on 08/18 at 07:36 PMbut never underestimate the power of having a hate figure.
i suppose it is a bad thing, but then again…
Posted by michael from scotland on 08/18 at 07:39 PMSome stories take a bit longer to develop, don’t they?
For example, Neptune just completed its first full orbit around the sun since its discovery in 1846.
If you want the list just for info…
Mercury 88 days
Venus 225 days
Earth 365 days
Mars 685 days
Jupiter 12 years
Saturn 29 years
Uranus 84 years
Neptune 165 years
Pluto (minor planet) 247.8 years
No joke.... captcha is “around”
Posted by michael from scotland on 08/19 at 10:31 AMAwesome info...thanks, Michael.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 08/19 at 10:38 AMNo problem.
If i lived on Mars I would only be 16!
Posted by michael from scotland on 08/19 at 10:39 AMSolid interview...and congratulations to Neptune.
Posted by Keir from here and there on 08/19 at 04:09 PMBack after a few days of ‘computer trouble’ - let’s hope things will be back to normal over the next few weeks/months ..
Hello, michael, Joe of Maine, Charles, keir and Mickey of course - from a still wet and cold Daylesford. No more than 50F again today and not much ‘warmer’ for the next 7 days.
Now I’m going to read the interview ...
Posted by Helga from Daylesford, Australia on 08/19 at 07:57 PMHello again, everyone...and nice to see Keir.
