  5. Frances 4...great video...the first time I saw a Whale, in its home...I was deeply moved. I wanted to see them often. I had this idea I could sit among Whales in a small boat and hope they would come close enough to touch. I never did this but just seeing them, to me is very powerful. Yeah, I think men might consider wearing dresses. Easier to get dressed and undressed...not as many garments are needed for summertime.

  8. Hello Expendables. Another hot, humid day in NYC. Good to see you, Mike. Thanks for the vids. Frances. I’ll check them soon. And Joe, my favorite Stones “album” is either Exile on Main Street or Beggar’s Banquet.

  12. Michael..11...Just 10 minutes ago, I had a discussion about men wearing dresses...we’re only dealing with thoughts and words...especially in the summertime. A dress is simply a long t-shirt. In the winter, well, many woman wear pants and so do men. I would prefer nice fabrics with deep berry colors, nice greens, i.e. Functional pockets.

Now for bicycling, we would need special dresses, not too flaired out at the bottoms, not too loose at the top...I don’t see this as a design problem.

  13. well, a kilt is not a dress - and it actually comes with a knife as part of the uniform (called a dirk and put in the right sock)

if yo uever come here you will not see people wearing them about town. it is for weddings, football matches and various other special occasions.

    and… girls f*cking LOVE it.

  14. Michael..13..well girls loving men in dresses or quilts is good to know..I need to increase my appeal to women. Walking around in blue jeans with a cigar hanging out of my mouth doesn’t seem to work for me and I really don’t understand this?

  15. What about little ol’ ladies who walk around in blue jeans........The last time I put on a dress, which was about 15 years ago, even my family laughed at me.

  17. Borrowed Irony dept: An early exposure to class in America was in a freshman gym class. I had on a pair of my brother’s gym pants which had the imprint of a nearby private high school. Two guys in class were obviously impressed and asked if I had gone there. “No,” I said. “And I hardly go here.” (My high school career was about four non-consecutive months...about the same amount of time my brother spent on the other side of the class line at PHS.)

Kilt In Action: remember the kid who wore one to his high school prom and the school had a cow over his dirk? It was in Bowling for Columbine. That clip isn’t on YouTube, but that great animated history of guns in the US is: http://tinyurl.com/36bqj5
