May I?
Happy belated birthday, Mickey. I found two joysticks from the Mac gamers sites. They look very star wars-y to me compared to the simple one you posted and I would have no idea how to use them.
There’re also these things called trackball pads.

Some of these may require extra software to run.
Posted by Harry from on 05/01 at 10:36 PMThanks, Harry. Those gizmos are rather sci-fi...but if they work why not? I’m gonna call 3M again later. It’s odd that the joystick I own worked with my old Mac. The only issue it had was any time I had to restart, I had to first unplug the joystick (it plugged directly into the tower) and then plug it back it once the computer has rebooted.
I tried something last night. I clicked on a box that allowed for assistive devices. Since then, the joystick is working a little better. Erratic tracking, yes. But the real issue is when it randomly decides to create pulldown menus anywhere I click. That’s stopped...for now.
More soon…
