    I step away from a few agonizing moments in front of the T.V..

    HIM, who must not be named, has spoken…

    I call out:  “God save the Human Race.” ...while
    a murmor of disquiet rushes through those assembled…

    The murmor is drowned out by cries of: 
    “Sig Heil!”

    And so it goes… and so do we… but where?

  4. And more than a few ‘journalists’ still pretend that things are going swimmingly in Iraq especially since the elections!  Btw Bob Herbert has a very good column in today’s New York Times about Iraq and the behaviour of the occupation force.
