no matter where or what you’re celebrating.
Posted by Andy from Shanghai on 12/25 at 05:36 AMThanks, Andy.
Hey, I just found this old article of mine and just had to share it for a sigh:
http://www.zmag.org/znet/viewArticle/19368Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 12/25 at 08:00 AMI know.
It’s one year later and I lost count of the usually sane people who got angry with me in the run up to the election for telling them to pay attention to what he’s saying and notice it’s just centre-right mainstream politics ..and so on.
Guess how many of them have since talked to me about it, apologized or at least said I was right.
Yes ... zero.
Anyway, I (we) wasn’t right about anything. There were no predictions involved.
In my view all I (we here) did was listen to what he said, then watch him do exactly what he said.
Posted by Andy from Shanghai on 12/25 at 12:29 PMExactly, Andy. He made it very easy to predict what he’d do unless, of course, you chose to assign him sainthood status in advance.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 12/25 at 01:11 PMHow about one more Xmas song before I move past this post?

Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 12/25 at 03:55 PMThanks for the re-post, MZ. That “Feel The Pressure” article is one of your best. Here’s some recycled sentiment of my own:
Remember O’s blockbuster speech at the 2004 (D) convention? The oohs and aahs from liberal America were thunderous, but WTF did he say? Reading the text was revelatory; there was literally nothing there, like a waiter raving about how good the food is, but handing out blank menus. [This last might be a good line for needling the twerps over at Democratic (sic) Underground.]
Disney or Dreamworks will design the next liberal trojan horse, who will be 100% CGI. The Little Mermaid can be Labor Secretary and Buzz Lightyear the Minister of War.

On that note, a new post is now up. See you all there.
