  3. Charles..1..what brand urinal was it? I was once on a toilet website, you know, designer toilets, regular toilets, I never knew there were so many toilet manufactures on this planet. I think Standard and Elger are decent urinals.

  5. An update to my previous post...the urinals in this building are made by Crane Plumbing...nice bird on the label. They seem to work well and the flushing mechanism is reliable.

  7. Now I’m home...would you believe the name of this toilet I use everyday is Mansfield. Who thinks of these names. It’s a water saver toilet. By the way Maine passed the national I.D. law, whatever the hell it’s called. I have no idea where Maine government is going with this.

    We’re having another perfect autumn day in rural Victoria:  72F and sunshine - what more does one want?  Nothing wrong with the world - but only for a short time, and before one hears the latest news ..

  9. Karen’s out so I rented the Day of the Dead remake… Ving Rhames is in it yet it’s not a sequel to the Dawn of the Dead remake from a few years ago. I’ll let you know what I think but I’m not holding out high hopes, direct to vid as it was.

  10. Dawn of the Dead… you reminded me of Zack Snyder and his offensive excuse for a movie “300”.

    And then one of the all-time great comics books ‘watchmen’ is given to him to direct the movie version ...

    There is a god, and he hates me.

    By the way, James, I noticed that you too felt the passing of Gary Gygax. When I first came out to Shanghai I taught a bit. I still keep one private class once a week cos I love the students to bits and they are practically native speakers now. Guess what we do most classes?

    Play Dungeons and Dragons. Great.

Hey Andy and JOS… oh, I’m giving Snyder the benefit of the doubt on Watchmen for now. 300 and the Dawn remake were fun, though the new Dawn didn’t have the brilliance of the first, but lots more action. And um, this Day of the Dead remake I rented, well it was kinda fun, but very much a straight to dvd movie. The idea of the vegetarian zombie was a new one.
