The Ultimate Central Park Staycation
Hi everyone
Just voted for the great as usual articles.
Oh, I just saw that me and RMJ both popped up on DV at the same time.
Bedtime for me sorry.

Here’s your article:

http://tinyurl.com/yfn5v58Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 10/21 at 02:13 PMHi Andy...I am on my way to your article right now.
Thanks Mickey, but I did NOT write that article. Must be a snafu. Good article. The real author - whoever that is, deserves credit. I don’t know how my name was put there. The article that I DID write is getting a lot of comments. I knew it would. Kind of struck a nerve. Here is the link.
Posted by RMJ from Ward Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 10/21 at 02:44 PMIt’s a shame that the comments section at DV has been highjacked by 4-5 usual suspects.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 10/21 at 02:58 PMMickey...would that explain how my name was credited with the article that I didn’t write???
I voted for your article, Mickey. Yes, I agree. It reminded me though of the fact that in many neighborhoods clothes lines are illegal. My side of the street, they are allowed. Across the street they are not. Does not make sense but that is what happens when restrictions are written in deeds.
Posted by RMJ from Ward Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 10/21 at 05:04 PMRMJ: I think it was likely an innocent mix-up. Did you contact the editors?
What I was referring to is the fact that every article on DV is followed by a long thread of comments by 4-5 people who say essentially the same thing no matter what the article is about.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 10/21 at 05:07 PMAnd thanks to everyone who voted. It makes difference for me so I appreciate it.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 10/21 at 05:08 PMGreat photo of Central Park, Mickey! And the rest of the post is not bad either, needless to say.
I should hang my head in shame because I have not voted on any articles yet, but promise I shall do so once I come back from Melbourne early next week.
Hello, Andy and Rosemarie. Have a good weekend, all of you.
All best,
HelgaPosted by Helga Fremlin from Daylesford, Australia on 10/21 at 06:43 PMNo problem, Helga. I still love you.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 10/21 at 06:57 PMI will be stay-cationing in the park tomorrow.
Posted by Charles from Jersey City on 10/21 at 09:54 PMI’m a big staycation guy. Not only that, Shanghai has a large network of old water towns and lakes and tourist areas around it that are all linked up by train or bus.
There is a special tourist bus station by the main stadium where they all leave from the same place.
You get there and don’t have to navigate parking etc. You just get dropped off and come back to the stop to go home, they send the buses out every hour or so.
Posted by Andy from shanghai on 10/22 at 03:21 AMToday should be an excellent day for Central Park: over 70 degrees and leaves are just starting to change. I walked through a virtually empty Central Park early yesterday morning and the birds were chirping a symphony.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 10/22 at 04:53 AMDon’t forget, it’s October 22:

Posted by michael from not scotland on 10/22 at 07:21 AMThanks, Michael. I just put up a new post and in the Halloween article, you’ll find a link to your extinction site.
See you all on the next comments thread.
