When McMoore is Lesser
Mickey - What’s your take on Znet’s content overall?
Posted by James O'Shea on from Puerto Rico 09/23 at 02:12 PMI am just moving out of my Chomsky phase and I have been losing interest in Znet for some time now. Not saying that there isn’t good stuff there, but I guess it’s just my time to move on.
Tired of reading about problems and not doing anything about them, but that’s my problem, not theirs.
I appreciate your writing a great deal, thanks. It’s good to know there is a fellow New Yorker out there fighting for us.
Posted by James O'Shea on from Puerto Rico 09/23 at 02:52 PMhmmmm your smarty pants rejection of MM suggests a bit of elitism yourself, no?
MM has brought a message to the masses in a way that anarchists and other radicals are today jealous of - please give credit where credit is due.
Posted by Zed Ed on from 09/24 at 06:29 AMYou misread me, Zed Ed. MM got off to a deceptively good start and yes, he has “brought a message to the masses,” but what did he do with that influence?
MM: Corporations suck, politicians are crooks, etc.
Masses: What can we do?
MM: Vote for Democrats.Hardly radical.
He has the ability to mobilize the masses and instead, he has brought them to Kerry’s doorstep and charges $60,000 to give talks. Who’s the elitist?
Posted by Mickey Z. on from 09/24 at 06:42 AMhow can he ask what other choice do we have when the world over people achieve great victories without bush or kerry...or any government at all?
