Stillborn (a new poem by Mickey Z.)
What a wonderful poem! The fact remains that most people in the U.S. still support the troops who slaughter the children. The killing will continue as long as there is support for those who are doing the killing in and the occupying of Iraq.

People in the U.S. do not support the troops, not at all, when they mimic the words of the high and mighty who send these befuddled people to trauma or death—as though life were so disposable. May some of those who return join those of us who aspire to a better society than Bush et al. are capable of conceiving.
