Liberation, democracy, and all that jazz...
Jesus...I don’t know what could be more horrifying. That picture should be forever ingrained in Bush’s mind. I linked this entry at my site, if you don’t mind.
Posted by James on from Puerto Rico 01/27 at 01:34 PMFeel free to do the link, James. I just wish I still had the original link. If anyone finds it, please send it my way.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from 01/27 at 01:44 PMThat picture broke my heart.
Posted by Hesham on from Dubai 01/27 at 09:10 PMNever mind having the picture be ingrained into GWB’s mind. Where it needs to be ingrained even more… are the minds of the neighbors with whom we stand on line at the local grocery store. They, if they support him, are his enablers… they are his condoners… and they share in the culpability of the young child’s tears. Distance and security barriers prohibit us from trying to ingrain the picture into GWB. But what’s stopping us from doing that to his enablers?
Posted by Nader Rider on from 01/27 at 10:37 PMAny suggestions on how to do that, NR?
Posted by Mickey Z. on from 01/28 at 06:36 AMMickey, can i post the picture on my site?
Posted by Hesham on from Dubai 01/28 at 06:49 AMFeel free to post but I’m still trying to track down the original link.

And after reviewing my tape of Press Action’s gig on C-Span, Mark A. talks about it too.
Posted by Nader Rider on from 01/28 at 10:44 AMThanks, NR...I hope to give it a read later today.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from 01/28 at 01:30 PMI believe this is the same incident:

Posted by Hesham on from Dubai 01/29 at 04:22 PMThanks for that. The denial-fueled voiceover was instructive, huh?
Posted by Mickey Z. on from 01/29 at 05:57 PMSo what happened to freedom of artistic expression? I have seen many movies that depict Presidents getting assassinated, what’s the difference?
The irony of those kids situation is that the NRA has made it possible for the underage school shooters in Jonesboro, AR to get their guns back when they are released on their 18th birthday. How is drawing a picture a worse crime?
