Liberation, democracy, and all that jazz...

  1. Jesus...I don’t know what could be more horrifying.  That picture should be forever ingrained in Bush’s mind.  I linked this entry at my site, if you don’t mind.

  2. Feel free to do the link, James. I just wish I still had the original link. If anyone finds it, please send it my way.

  4. Never mind having the picture be ingrained into GWB’s mind.  Where it needs to be ingrained even more… are the minds of the neighbors with whom we stand on line at the local grocery store.  They, if they support him, are his enablers… they are his condoners… and they share in the culpability of the young child’s tears.  Distance and security barriers prohibit us from trying to ingrain the picture into GWB.  But what’s stopping us from doing that to his enablers?

  8. One of my fav heroines, Granny D, offers some helpful insight that addresses your question, MZ.

And after reviewing my tape of Press Action’s gig on C-Span, Mark A. talks about it too.

  12. Thanks for that. The denial-fueled voiceover was instructive, huh?

  13. So what happened to freedom of artistic expression? I have seen many movies that depict Presidents getting assassinated, what’s the difference?

The irony of those kids situation is that the NRA has made it possible for the underage school shooters in Jonesboro, AR to get their guns back when they are released on their 18th birthday. How is drawing a picture a worse crime?
