The right to remain silent/The duty to speak out
Very good article.
Have you ever looked into Wilhelm Reich? He was the only person to have his entire body of scientific work banned and then burned by the Federal Government. His crime being the “discovery” of Orgone Energy. long explanation short, it’s like the “The Force” from Star Wars a field of energy suffused throughout all living things. He was able to photograph it with results very similar to aura photos. As well as control/focus it for the purposes of healing and even cloudbusting. Pretty fascinating guy right up there with Nicola Tesla.
Here’s an online bio on him.

P.S. have you ever thought of opening a forum on your site?Posted by Luna_C on from happy weekend fun land... 02/12 at 11:16 AMMy knowledge of Reich has previously been limited to references from other books and writers, e.g. Burroughs. I looked at the link you’ve provided and I must admit, I should read more. Thanks.
As for a forum, well, I don’t know. For now, I think the interactions here will have to suffice.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from 02/12 at 11:39 AMGreat article, Mickey! A timely reminder, and I always appreciate it when Lenny Bruce is presented in a deeper manner than “Dirty Lenny.” I would second the motion that you might enjoy learning a bit more about Wilhelm Reich, and for a quick read and short introduction to the man I recommend his book “Listen Little Man.” Written after his arrest, it is a sort of companion piece to his, “The Mass Psychology of Fascism.” Everything old is new again, or so it seems…

Posted by Mickey Z. on from 02/12 at 01:46 PM“Orgone Energy?” Hmm...I just saw ‘Man Who Wasn’t There’ again, the Coen brothers’ latest masterpiece, and it was riotous seeing the hold Flying Saucers had on public consciousness in a bygone era…
On a mostly unrelated note (tinge of yesterdecade
consciousness tho), I was at the mecca of conspiracy theorists a couple of weeks ago--6th floor of the former schoolbook depository building in Dallas, but it was on the 7th floor that was the real expose was laid out in

How quaint Adlai Stevenson’s comments about insulted intelligences and “Ivory soap versus Palmolive” sounded…Posted by sk on from 02/12 at 11:21 PMGreat stuff, Mickey! I’m still dropping in frequently, just too busy to engage in much exchange. Thanks for keeping me informed on Ward Churchill.
