  1. Mickey....you should have put up Erroll Garner’s photo.  I wonder how many could have identified it. I know that he was never up for an Oscar but he did win the playboy jazz poll.

  2. Ah, but Rosemarie...the folks in my pictures were never nominated for an Academy Award either. They have another Oscar connection.

  3. I’m sorry. You can see that I am not up on my Hollywood trivia. The last time that I went to the movies, I saw JFK.  Is the connection the name “Oscar”? That’s just a guess.

    First name Oscar, last names Madison, Bonavena, Robertson, Levant, Gamble, Grouch, Peterson, and Wilde.
