Great American Meatout/Another MZ Interview
Excellent interview, Mickey. I’m heading out to do Meatout stuff today. I might be going to an AR conference in NYC in a few weeks (still looking for a place to stay) - I look to be inspired, to remind myself every day why I have chosen this form of activism as my primary work, and your interview was inspirational in this regard. I do other forms of activism as well, but my heart is in the sheds, and my commitment is to reducing and eliminating the harm that is done through the exploitation of animals. I do think the movement would be wise to create more separatist institutions and things such as vegan cohousing.

Do you want me to answer your questions as a comment on your site or post them here or what?
If you opt for “or what,” I’ll likely need further explanation.
Learned,
MZ

Posted by michele on from the kitchen 03/22 at 11:23 PMWe spent four hours tabling at an anti-war rally on the Boston commons. Thousands of people came to our table and got information on many different topics, esp. veganism. We had successfully gotten some free food samples from some vegan food companies to pass out for free throughout the day. We lucked out with the best possible location for our tables. It was a great success!!
