  1. That was a really good “warts and all” look at Fischer’s life, Mickey; sympathetic without shrinking away from his flaws. So much of what gets written about famous figures focuses on the sensational. I have a better understanding of him now. Thanks.

    FYI, Fischer was born in Chicago, not Brooklyn.

  3. intersting mickey but I’m more concerned with
    meat and potatoes than the sideshows the airways
    are full of. Question: are you reading Arundhati Roy?
