Hitting the wall before Mother's Day
This is way, way off subject, here. However, it’s “tomorrow” in NY, and this tidbit bothered me so much I just needed to send you this note:
I’ve been reading a piece at globalresearch.ca, about the British response to the war in Iraq. One of the stories concerns a woman whose husband was recently killed there. When his coffin finally arrived, it contained - just two legs…
two different sized legs. The government explained that it thought that one of the legs belonged to her husband, and they hoped she could identify it…When I read this, strangely enough, I heard this little piece of music in my head, which somehow seems appropriate - as if something immense is comming…
from Dylan, the conclusion of Watchtower:“Outside in the distance,
a wild cat did growl,
two riders were approaching -
the wind began to howl...”-joe

Decades and decades of indoctrination, however, have worked. Millions will argue whether or not Paula Abdul should be fired. But how many even know (or care) about the story Joe tells here?
