Intellectual Guantanamo?

  1. Veganism is direct action that cannot be crushed by authoritarianism; nor does it justify calls to augment the police state. It’s irrepressible, and, taken as a whole, it addresses the most serious injustices and the most urgent threats to the planet today. Could that be what Paul Cézanne meant by saying:

    “The day is coming when a single carrot, freshly observed, will set off a revolution.”
