It is incredible the level of paranoia that exists amongst the elites that write “informed opinion” in the dominant media!  This reminds me of what Chomsky was fond of quoting about the imminent threat the Sandinistas posed to America: that if anyone actually said it out loud, 100 million Mexicans would die laughing, or something along those lines.  Unfortunately, not too many readers of the garbage in that editorial will laugh, but will instead take it seriously.  When will the morons who write such crap be held accountable?
