Italy just can't get enough of me (and here come the blurbs)

  1. I think it’s because Italians like guys who shorten their last name to one letter.  Either that, or they know truthful writing when they see it.

  2. People who are tired of being treated like dirt are always happy to open their arms to native sons (even if the relationship is remote) who can put up a fight. They don’t even have to agree with what they say. It’s enough that they’re willing to fight. That lends some dignity. Someone who can get busy with fists and feet and brains is especially welcome. Now that Italy is fighting off fascism, again, who you are, what you’ve done and what you have to say is important. It’s even better that you’re irreverent towards any kind of celebrity.

  3. I’ve always liked Italy!  What’s not to like about a country which is ‘predominanty Catholic’ but has one of the lowest birthrates in the world?
