If sharks were men

  1. Wonderful Story, Mickey!
(Or, is that Wonderful, Dreadful Story! (?) )

I’ve not read much Brecht - this piece and the link stuff indicate I should do so.  There’s a little Kafka in there, methinks - or maybe it’s just the name “K” which seems so familiar.  He’s a subversive bastard, of course.  If he’d just quit smoking, he could have entered the fold…

What do you think about London?  Phase II of some evil “Master Plan?”
And - do you think they could shut down the internet in “the interest of national security”
if things heat up?  I’ve read, lately, about their “master servers,” and their intention to mantain control over them.

    With a “blacked-out” internet we’d be in a bit of a bind, eh?  You’ve got to wonder…

Keep `em comming, Mickey!  - joe

  2. A Limerick in Memory of July 7, 2005

There once was a man named Blair,
It seemed he did not have a care,
    But then one day,
    Blowback came his way,
Now we ask, is Blowback ever fair.

  3. More than Phase II, Joe. Let’s not forget Madrid, Bali, etc.

  4. Of course, Blair & Blokes were reclining in some posh-palace while the ordinary people got hammered.  So it is, eh?  “Blowing-back” at the Elites is illegal.  The rest of us are cannon-fodder.

PS - Great pic of “Nardo, and the Sharks,” Mickey! I don’t think I’ve seen that one before…

  5. Blowback at anyone is illegal, dumbass. Elites are just harder to get to.

Fave other passage - i can’t find the exact quote but its something like this

“ah sir, so you belive our judges are corruptible?”
“No sir, they are absolutely incorruptible. There isn’t any amount of money you could give them that would make them give a fair judgment.”

    superb

  7. Your comments are welcome here, John...but there’s no need to call anyone a “dumbass.”

  8. Great Quote, Michael!  The various legal systems of the world, distilled to their essences…
    Thanks.
