Ah yes, it's the old "vital interests" trick
Guess who came up with “a long-term plan for the world control and distribution of oil in the Near East” when Jimmy Carter was still a toddler?
Posted by sk on from 05/08 at 08:12 AM“vital interests” trump humanity every time in the home of the free.
Posted by JOS on from Chicago 05/08 at 08:50 AMno child left behind:
One in eight Iraqi children now die of disease or violence before the age of five. In 2005 alone, 122,000 Iraqi children died before reaching their fifth birthday. Save the Children said Iraq’s child-survival ranking is now the lowest in the world.
all this garbage about freedom and liberty means nothing to anyone but chevron and blackwater and company.Posted by frances on from bc 05/08 at 09:36 AMand life goes on...in a few minutes i will be driving to work. I might as well be pouring blood and mothers milk into my tank. I will be poisoning the air and soil as I travel. at 4.80 a gallon i am lining someones pocket...fueling some dirty deed somewhere.
captcha says justice....Posted by frances on from bc 05/08 at 09:53 AMHello Expendables. It’s sunny and getting warmer in Astoria.
SK: It’s been a while. Good to see you and thanks for the context link.
JOS: Humanity? What’s humanity?
Frances: You sure said it here: I might as well be pouring blood and mothers milk into my tank.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 05/08 at 10:20 AMWatch out with that mothers milk in the gas tank. It’s all poison now and your car might not run properly.

Posted by Keir on from the hague 05/08 at 12:21 PMWell, I’m always telling people to go organic…
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 05/08 at 12:36 PMI want at tit juice spiked with rocket fuel.
Posted by Frances on from bc 05/08 at 03:06 PMtit juice spiked with rocket fuel
If that’s not a euphemism, I don’t know what is.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 05/08 at 03:48 PMHi frances, Keir, Mickey, JOS, and sk…
Soon the level of fire retardants in breast milk will be so high that breast milk will be better than water for putting out fires. Even when that research was done and the fact that breast milk was contaminated became common knowledge, there was NO public outcry. No, I am not optimistic if even that has not awakened the masses.
Mickey, thanks for making that connection between “vital interests” and J Carter. Makes you wonder why anyone is still a member of the Democratic Party. I understand why there are Republicans. It makes sense for Capitalists to be Republicans but why are there any Democrats ?Posted by RMJ on from Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts 05/08 at 03:48 PMbreast milk will be better than water for putting out fires
Especially if it’s a two-alarm fire…
why are there any Democrats?
To fill out the good cop-bad cop routine?
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 05/08 at 03:51 PMWasn’t carter one of eleven control freaks..called the Tri-lateral group...in the 70’s with ‘their’ plan to control the universe...smiling, selling peanuts, building houses...prosecute now!
Posted by joe of maine on from 05/08 at 04:23 PMsince we’re telling breast jokes...can I tell one that an ex priest related to the whole crowd at my father’s funeral? My father was a priest in the Catholic church for over two years when he was a young man.
He and some of the other young priests were having martinis with the bishop of his diocese in Chicago. The bishop asked if my father wanted another and he said, “Martini’s are like women’s breasts… three are too many, one never enough.”
My mom hated that the guy shared that one...but I sure got a laugh out of it.
Posted by JOS on from Chicago 05/08 at 04:25 PMIn other news:
“According to the report, Iraq’s child mortality rate has increased by a staggering 150 percent since 1990. Some 122,000 Iraqi children died in 2005 before reaching their fifth birthday. More than half of these deaths were among newborn babies in the first month of life.”
Posted by JOS on from Chicago 05/08 at 04:27 PMre#11...sorry if I offended anyone. I was being crude.
Posted by frances on from bc 05/08 at 04:33 PMJOS...thanks for that link about the Iraqi children.
Have you heard the latest, the New York state legislature has a bill that would outlaw incandescent light bulbs. Seems to me that first they should figure out how to dispose of the new “energy efficient” ones. They contain mercury and can only be disposed of in toxic waste sites. I wonder if Halliburton will get the contract to handle the disposal problems.
Posted by RMJ on from Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts 05/08 at 05:05 PMBeen through Hell. Slowly coming back to the real world. Talk to you soon.
