"Desperately important work to be done"

Posted by Mickey Z on 06/28 at 09:49 PM
  1. Mickey and Fam == Well == I’ve been going back over the archives in Mickey Z .. and started to ponder the timing of your postings. Many coincide with the frigging screwball events and situations Georgie Porgie - Bashful Blair - Canadian Prime-Ribs - and Aussie Outbacks tend to place Free-World Expendables in on a fairly consistent basis.  You have a chronicled manifesto that covers just about everything one needs to realize, accept and ward off Dr Alzeimher’s curse.  The way I see it, Rosemarie, You, Frances, Helga, Joseph “Remember the Maine-stay”, JOS, Scottish Witt-a-More, Alexander “I live in the Hague-for-Chrise-Sakes” Keir, Zen-"been there-seen it-what the F*-it” and many others have created the Kingdom of Sane, which many rational person desire.  We need to create a Cabinet, cull the words of previous pundit contributors as the House of Common-Lord-Representatives - set aside a piece of ficticious or otherwise geography - create streetsmart plats and road-maps and sell shares (manifesto chronicled copies).  Envision it as a New - Jonny Come Lately Woe-Be-Gone for 2010 and beyond.  Garrison K and the Prairie-Hamlet crowd will be dust in the wind.  Imagine the spin-offs?  So - All - Put on your thinkinking caps and let this Kingdom-of-Sane roll!  Here’s Donavan from the Summer of Love 67’ doin’ “Sunshine SuperMan”, our temporary Nationalist Anthem http://tinyurl.com/3xfxcc

  3. Hello Mickey...There is a line of thought concerning, being, doing, accomplishment, acquiring...and the underlying motives...usually a number of strata to discover...Krishnamurti is one who has spoken about this more directly. The innerworld is an interesting trip with constant new discovery.

GOOD DAY JOE AND MICHAEL == HERE IS A LATER MORNING VERSION OF SUNSHINE SUPERMAN BY DONOVAN = http://tinyurl.com/25xyoa The purpose of this song as a N ationalist Anthem for The Kingdom of Sane is to focus on the fluff of life, while pondering life’s unthinkables..... smile .. and thank you Mickey Z for your boundless energy and efforts to inspire our sanity!

  7. Frances...what do the biopsy reports mean...?

Posted by joe of maine  on  from 06/29  at  11:43 AM
  8. Hi Joe, What does it mean?I had some fluid and flesh removed from a lump in my breast. they tested it to see if the cyst was a tubular infection, cancer, or just a benign(sp/)growth. It is cancerous.  It means surgery and treatment with radiation and possibly chemo.
    Technically.
at this point i dont really know what it means.
anyway i am out the door to talk with a friend of a friend who has survived breast cancer…
thankfully the medical system here is fantastic.  At least I dont have to worry about paying for any of this, they will even do reconstructive surgery if I want it.
now I am sorry i mentioned it..

  9. Frances...I’m glad you have friends, a support system locally...I’m sorry you have this to deal with. If I might pretend to be a daddy for one moment...care for yourself...keep toxic corruption out of your consciousness while you’re healing...I need to take my advice…

  10. frances...your news is so sad. I am sorry that you are going through this. I know that no two cancers are the same but if it is of any help to know, my sister was diagnosed with one of the most deadly forms of cancer (peritoneal) 8 years ago. She is doing fine now. She has excellent insurance and a very good doctor. Her doctor says that cancer should be treated like a cronic disease. That has made the difference. Like I tell all here, my phone line is open 24/7, if you ever need someone to listen to you and give moral support.

  11. Hi richie,joe,Michael,Thomas,and all others…

Mickey...you were missed. It feels good knowing that you are back. Thinking about you and other famous authors, tonight I am taking a few hours off to go to a “thing” in honor of Shirley Jackson.

  12. See what happens, when you try to do something good...now they are calling me a “simplistic moron”. When things like this happen, it always makes me just smile and shake my head. Ad hominem attacks are usually used when someone disagrees with “us”.

  13. RMJ...12...who pays...this question is as old as dinosour shit and I’m tired of it...let’s look at monetary systems, let’s look at man-made divisions between people, hierarchies, class discrimination, let’s look at who puts a price tag over everyone’s head, what man-made idea says a surgeon must make 6 million dollars a year, who says a janitor can only make $10 an hour, this classist, neanderthal system that so many people, STILL...want to put energy into, maintain it in their thoughts, their consciousness...only to perpetuate this madness...money separates people with power and influence from people who have no power and are under the RULE, control, physical, economic of the inflencial wealthy factions...well...who the hell doesn’t know that, one might ask...the majority of americans who are dumb as a log, which is also why we have the dumbest, most corrupt, goddamn government, which no one needs on this toxic planet...there should be no question about health care if anyone needs...the people with the money, under current cirumstances should pay, simply out of decency and human ethics...there should be no question or debate about this...there is only debate because many people are happy to relinquish their humanity and become a stupid american and all that might mean...! RATIONALIZE the insensitivities, the calousness, survival of the fittest and all that crap, anything other than people have allowed, even enabled the complete denial of their own existence!

  14. You’ve done your share of desperate work, Mickey. One of the best things one can do is get the word out. Get people talking. Get people thinking. Yeah, it’s easy preaching to the choir. It’s the ones that don’t agree, don’t understand, that we need to target.

Welcome back. Although I seldom comment, I look for your posts every day.

  15. joe...you bring up a lot of important points. I have always said that the wage system is corrupt and that no one should be paid a lot more than anyone else. Every moment of any human beings time should hold the same value as anyone else’s. The Ben & Jerry’s formula is an acceptable one. I beleive that it used to be their corporate policy that no one, including the CEO, should be paid more than 6 times the lowest wage. My view is that a janitor should be on the same pay scale as a brain surgeon. That would be a fair system if medical schools were free, as they should be and are in some other countries. The arguement that if everyone was paid the same, most people would not work is a fallacy. I know too many talented artists, musicians, and writers who are not being paid for their achievements. I also know a lot of people who volunteer their time and talents for free in mentoring children etc. Joe, I like how you often bring up “ethics”. That is one neglected topic these days. Now, I wish that I didn’t have to run off to the Shrily Jackson thing.....

Posted by RMJ  on  from Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts 06/29  at  03:17 PM
  16. RMJ...15...I don’t think a ceo should receive anymore than anyone else...any organization is a group of people, with a common effort to accomplish some thing...everyone is needed, everyone should be perceived as the same...an upright who needs food and excellent human relations to exist...[now we all know I would be laughed out of any room for saying that...and that’s only because most of the people in the room don’t know their alive...yet!] Laws help the sleepwalkers practice classism and justify not paying someone, even though an hourly employee might contribute more to a company than a ceo, who has not come up with an independent idea in their entire life...but laws, those wonderful laws legalize this ceo’s lack of ethics and inhumane and antisocial tendencies...etc…

  17. Hello Expendables...from a sunny but relatively cool Astoria (Nice to see you, Kati).

Frances: I’m terribly sorry to hear your news. For more than two years, I have been doing my best to help my Mom deal with ovarian cancer so I know this can be quite a journey. My thoughts are with you and i do hope you’ll never hesitate to call on any of us here for moral support.

I am finding ways to get grounded and centered in the calm silence.

  19. bombs in london?

i will post in its entirety a post from my favourite blogger who just had a novel and he is not my friend an d i havent read it so i dont know if its any good but he makes me laugh all the time…

LONDON TERROR BOMB ALERT TERROR ALERT TERROR

Terror bomb terror car terror bomb terror returned to terrorise London’s streets today when a bomb was discovered in a car outside a London nightclub, terror bomb alert terror car terror.

The anti-terror head of Scotland Yard’s anti-terror unit said it was too early to speculate about who may have been responsible for the terror bomb, but Iran Iraq Syria Muslims Iran Muslims Iraq al-Qaida al-Qaida Iran Iran Bloody Irish anyway.

The anti-terror Prime Minister, who is against terror, said he would “stress to the cabinet that the vigilance must be maintained over the next few days”, which sounds jolly helpful.

The anti-terror Secretary for War, Des Browne, who is also against terror, responded by thanking God for the police and explosives experts, which sounds even more helpful, especially when it comes (as inevitably it will) to the point of asking Parliament to countenance locking people up without trial for as long as somebody thinks it necessary terror terror terror:

“Mummy, you love me don’t you?”
    “Of course I do, darling.”
“You thank God I’m here, don’t you?”
“Naturally, dear. Every day I express my gratitude to God that he stuck his invisible hand up me that night and ruptured that condom the nuns always warned me against.”
“Good. In that case I want a new bike and a puppy and a Playstation and I want to be able to lock Timmy in the fridge for three months every time the fancy takes me.”

You can see the terror logic of it, I hope.

  20. Frances........You will remain in my thoughts and prayers.. as we all carry a tiny part of *Y O U* our/sister’s cross.  You raise awareness and help us focus on the “you” inside of you.  For this I give thanks and recall a sign-off that a Benedictine Priest - Father Don LeMay, ends his correspondence with: “With every best Wish!” == richie ps JOS ... you and your family continue to be in my heart as well as all the guests and Family Z’s who visit this rest-stop on life’s journey.  == Sometimes a lil’ peace helps http://tinyurl.com/2wa7wn == As a Messianic Jew—this reflection of The Lord’s Prayer .. helps me if only for a moment == I find it often brings comfort to many of my compatriots of all ages and persuasions at the VA when they ask me to pray with them.  Shalom!
