The truth about immigration
Thanks for the article Mickey...it said, “globalize equity not poverty”
So it’s exploitation instead of establishing open communication and better human relations, ethically, equitably, not simply relative
equity...globally. Not sharing the planet but destroying all of this planet. The parasites own the guns, write the laws, push their weight around only because they are incapable of thinking beyond their savage mindset, incapable of thinking beyond wanting both nipples not sharing with their sister or brother. The parasites will go to their graves rich with mindless toys and without a trace of an evolved consciousness. From the book of the day club...’Tertium Organum’, P.D. Ouspensky.
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/12 at 06:53 PMThanks, Joe. I was beginning to wonder where everyone was.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 12/12 at 07:31 PMMickey...2...I just had a phone conversation...I wonder sometimes where...I...am! The jungle seems denser at times...getting lost is easier these days no matter how grounded I might feel.
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/12 at 08:10 PMIt’s funny how your pieces over there just send people into an absolute rage over...over what? Their own confusion and inability to grasp even a shred of what you are saying. They don’t even finish the piece...they are trained on catch-phrases...like dogs who bark on cue...to rattle off some nonsense, to bark incoherently about nothing at certain “controversial subjects.”
It’s funny and sad all rolled up in one. I am starting to think you get a kick out of it! Rattle some brains enough something of substance might come out, right?
Posted by JOS on from OP 12/12 at 08:27 PMIf only, JOS, if only…
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 12/12 at 08:28 PMTerry5135’s comment:
“Unfortunately, what you see as so obvious is something that is not part of most people’s worldview. So it’s likely that all the background and context must accompany any comments you might wish to make. I think that’s Noam Chomsky’s problem too, one which he’s talked about. Me, I wouldn’t have the patience.”Is dead on accurate. Great article.
Posted by Frances on from bc 12/12 at 08:37 PMclarification: Most Wealthy peoples worldview.
Posted by Frances on from bc 12/12 at 09:22 PMThe commenters either did not read the entire piece or they are “serious” progressive “realists” of the Kossack variety, who freak when they see your name.
Posted by Tommy on from I live by the River 12/13 at 11:49 AMI blame it all on steroids.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 12/13 at 02:22 PMShould it be necessary for anyone of any country to spend 40, 50, 60 hours a week, all their life working in the pits of eternal nothingness, and to simply ‘just get by’ in the economic system designed for those with more than enough, who do nothing worthy of mention, who leech off the labor of others. To sustain oneself in a sane society, it probably would not be necessary to work any more than 2 hours a week!
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 02:33 PMDoes AROD do steroids and take LSD?
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 02:47 PMI regularly shed tears over the terrible burdens immigrants place on our 19th century social welfare system. The irony is that 17th century thinkers are the ones who do all the scapegoating. Where’s the Native American INS when you need them?
#8 Tommy, quote of the day: “progressive realists”
I’d also like to add that Hillary Clinton is the devil. Bill Hicks would be having a field day with her. (from ‘Sane Man’: http://tinyurl.com/2nefmy )
Posted by Zen Prole on from Urth 12/13 at 04:31 PMWhat other baseball players do LSD?
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 04:57 PMHi Zen, joe, Mickey, Tommy, Frances, JOS, and all
I am snow bound up here and the white stuff is still falling. Hope all others are OK. joe, looks like you too are getting a lot.
Here’s a link. Most of you will probably not like it. JOS might and maybe Frances.
http://mwcnews.net/content/view/18734/26/Posted by RMJ on from Mickey Z 4 Prez Hdqts 12/13 at 05:02 PMHi RMJ...it is snowing...do you know if baseball players take LSD?
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 05:23 PMRMJ...15...great article RMJ...I am also dealing with toy time for the incorent.
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 05:41 PMThe Acid Test, for Joe: Dock Ellis pitched a no-hitter while under the influence of LSD (June 12, 1970). He said as much in 1984. http://tinyurl.com/8eqpn
Make sure you scroll down to the baseball card near the bottom.Posted by Zen Prole on from Urth 12/13 at 05:56 PMThanks Zen...there you go...what’s the big deal about baseball players taking drugs?
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 06:03 PMI’ll bet lots of them take antibiotics.
Posted by Mickey Z. on from Astoria 12/13 at 06:04 PMSteroids. HA!
Decades from now, fans will be watching genetically engineered ballplayers.
BTW, immigration issues exist in Baseball.
Posted by Tommy on from I live by the River 12/13 at 06:29 PMGreat article Rosemary.
Someone suggested to me that since I wasnt interested in participating in xmas this year I should just paint my bald head red stencil some merry ho hos on it and hang some colored balls from my ears...and there it is, Christmas!
Well maybe, but even that seems like too much effort in the wrong direction.
Did get me rolling with laughter tho.I am kind of done with talking to people about political environmental social “issues”. I just end up tongue tied it seems.
One of the nurses was talking with me about whales being hunted and isnt it sad.....I got to thinking maybe its more honourable for the whales to die fighting a pedator than to be slowly sickened in a toxic sea...everyones got a point of view is what I am saying. whos to say who is right or wrong.Posted by Frances on from bc 12/13 at 07:17 PMI very much enjoyed your article, RMJ.
Posted by JOS on from OP 12/13 at 07:42 PMFrances, hang in there. I admire your spirit. My sister has been in a battle similar to yours for 8 years. She is now doing fine, only because she has good insurance and a great doctor.
joe...I have been wondering all day why anyone cares if the baseball players take LSD or anything else - but then I have been wondering all my life why anyone can get so excited about their balls going in a hoop, or over a goal post, or in a little hole in the ground. When I see people getting so excited, I always feel like saying - lighten up, it’s just a ball. Maybe I am missing the important gene for this one.
Posted by RMJ on from Mickey Z 4 Prez Hdqts 12/13 at 07:43 PMThank you, JOS.
Off topic...but did anyone see Boston Legal on Tuesday night? It was one of the best anti-military statements I have heard recently. Also, I can’t do it with my computer but can anyone check out the Dixie Chicks version of “Dear Mr. President”. The background might be the Fisk War photos.
Posted by RMJ on from Mickey Z 4 Prez Hdqts 12/13 at 07:50 PMFrances 23...just the other day, I showed my friend a picture of a young Humpback Whale that I took on Jeffrey’s Ledge off Gloucester...Very moving photo taken very close. To the point...I think there should be ships on Whales behalf that shoot torpedo’s at Whaling ships. I volunteer!
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 08:34 PMJoe...can we see the pic?
Posted by JOS on from OP 12/13 at 08:58 PMRMJ, are you sure it wasn’t Pink:

Posted by JOS on from OP 12/13 at 09:03 PMJOS...25...Thanks for asking...it was a 35mm photo...and I don’t know how to do the photo on to the web anyway. I’m sure there are many wonderful Whale photos on various sites. I have been on respected Whale tours, however, I think, humans should leave all animals at piece and not create a business of ‘visiting’ the home of Whales uninvited by Cetacea. If you haven’t, seeing a Whale in it’s home will bring you down to earth damn quick.
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 09:41 PMYes Joe. Whales pass through the Georgia straight, and they are truly awesome creatures. I dont agree with whaling at all. Nor do I agree with more killing to end the killing. I agree with everything and I agree with nothing. Thats why I am working toward not talking about any of it.
Posted by frances on from bc 12/13 at 10:13 PMFrances...29...I think you’re wise...a simple quote with many layers..."if you’re talking, you ain’t learnin”...I’m a babbling fool much of the time...intuition takes a back seat to my shallow mind and utterances…
Posted by joe of maine on from 12/13 at 11:17 PMNot too sure about being wise, Joe. Just tired of having an opinion about anything. Opinions are sentiments, feelings, beliefs...so really how much are they worth in and of themselves? Just because I happen to believe the earth could be a friendlier place to live if some people didn’t act the way they do, doesn’t mean I have any knowledge of what to do about it. In fact I am clueless.
Posted by frances on from bc 12/14 at 01:50 AMFrances...31...You’re not clueless and I think that’s one piece you will know...you are Doing.
