The Cool Observer Interview: Michael Greenwell
No. 6 is an excellent answer Michael.
Posted by keir from here and there on 03/27 at 02:16 PMGreat answers from Michael. He says “soup” and made me hungry again. I used to make soup every Sunday.
Keir mentions the drones in the previous C.O. Heroes use negotiations. Cowards use drones. Maybe someday this country will have a monument to the drone-button-pushers who are many thousands of miles away from any danger. It would probably be a gigantic finger pointed up to the sky. I guess everyone here knows that the presumed first ‘legal’ assassination of a US citizen was done with a drone.

RMJ - Red lentil and carrot soup or potato and leek are my particluar favourites. I am currenly experimenting with broccoli and basil. Didn’t get it quite right last saturday. Going to try again tomorrow.
Thanks JOS, Thanks Keir.

Posted by michael from not scotland on 03/27 at 06:10 PMstanley kubrick is the only pale imitiation of kraftwerk music.
Posted by michael from not scotland on 03/27 at 06:13 PManother point about this is that kraftwerk were making this music in the early seventies. most of the music in this genre now is banal.
one thing to do a kind of music. another thing to invent it.
if it becomes banal later then that is outwith your control. you just need to wait for or create the new next thing.
Posted by michael from not scotland on 03/27 at 06:21 PMit’s getting late in europe so have a nocturne.

Posted by riche from st james city fl on 03/27 at 07:34 PMMichael, your mention of Kraftwerk, interesting, I was just listening to a 1974, Klaus Schulze work, ‘Black Dance’.
In my opinion Kraftwerk was not always a very good representative of that music. Schulze was not always very interesting...to me.
I personally don’t recommend either unless the brain chemistry has been altered and this explained by Dr. Kenneth Blair or someone else you might know.
Some people spoke of objective music/art and subjective music/art, then there is sound art and how sound effects individuals...this reminds me why I don’t participate in discussions about what is generally referred to as music. What can be said about the wonderful world of advertising and promotions ? Then we should say it about the unknown.
