Kofi was a student at Macalester College in St Paul, MN 35+ years ago.. We use to debate Kofi-cake for free. Now he gets 100k per speaking engagement + 60k for 2 sluggoguards, a private jet and personal entourage expenses. Inflation since the early 70’s is high = but come on!?! = Sir Wally Mondale, former VP of the USA preceded Kofi at Macalester by 20+ years and almost made it to the White House a second time - NOT! .. The price of jet fuel for the private ride pales in comparison to the Oil-For-Peace Program, which KOFI $ his son ran for free?!?—Who says good will and crime does’nt pay? By the by - What ever happened to Condi Rice? I wonder what she’s doin’ tonite?? Oh well, it’s a new month - bomb-sniffin’ dogs are patroling the drop-off points at airports - In fact, I encountered 3 last nite at the Mpls International Airport == Threat alert = O R A N G E == flashing drive-up sign == T I P S? It is also my opinion, Kissinger billboards his corruption.

The world is going to hell and like little children, though for pr purposes, riding around in a speed boat...to appeal to the child in all of us I suppose.
Well...Alice Miller might have something to say about this, and she should and she has!
The world’s decision makers, splashing around a pool of water while death comes to billions of people. Are there any cartoonists out there who want to to something with this?

The Bush Compound: remember back in ‘91 when Oil War 1 was in full swing, and Poppy Bush was sporting his cigarette boat off K-Port? When a reporter asked if that was, well, fucking stupid considering the gas price shock and related public perception and common sense? “Americans should recreate prudently” was the response - another hypocrisy ‘cause he and Barb never did.

I heard an interview with 2 scientists, on Radio Netherlands, who worked on the initial research of DU. They stated they took their findings to the Pentagon and said this crap is not to be used, very dangerous. The pentagon stated...it makes a good weapon.

One of his arguments was that “Justice Department officials gave [prosecutor] Mr. Fitzgerald so much authority that he was constitutionally unaccountable.”
Ummm, like, Earth to Planet Cheney, dude.
The only question remaining is, will Mr. Libby undergo the same treatment in prison that he and his boss have to the United States Constitution?

Still remember the hagiographic coverage Kissinger got in the German magazine ‘Der Spiegel’ when he visited their offices in Hamburg a few decades ago. What a great diplomat and thinker was he in the eyes of at least some of their journalists - never mind the crimes and misdemeanours. They only got mentioned in passing.

Mickey thanks for the link to NY wildlife. it sort of seems encouraging, that animals could adapt to the city. And a little discouraging, in that i ask: how much natural wilderness must be lost for them to resort to city parks and abandoned lots?
I was speaking with a friend in Toronto who says the weather there is crazy 45c (dont know what that translates to F degrees) one day and 12c the next. We have had 1 or 2 sunny days with clear blue skies through the month of June. Maybe July will be more summery.
