It was 68 years ago today...

  1. I saw something on TV recently which claimed that technical problems with the Led Zeppelin (observed in public at an airshow in Germany not long before it’s final flight) had been hushed up by extremely efficient Nazi media management--all bad news turned into no news.
    If so, then this goes to show that a high level of openness (in technical areas, at least) is actually vital for functioning of a society that is heavily invested in riding the technological tiger…
