  1. Painful but true… I find myself almost dreadfully hoping that Bush steals it again. Then the American public would have to face the fact that our Government is not in our control.

  2. It’s been said that 4 more years of Bush will effectively shatter most alliances and weaken the U.S. position in the world. Kerry, on the other hand, will shake hands, say the right things, and bullshit U.S. allies into thinking he’s part of their team. He’ll also keep the cruise missile left ready, willing, and able to support his wars as they supported Clinton’s.

The answers don’t lie in electoral politics but 85 million eligible voters stayed home in 2000. That’s enough to elect Nader or Cobb or Peltier in a landslide and keep the precious Repulican/Democrat balance untouched.

What if WE are the majority...but don’t even know it?

  3. “What if WE are the majority...but don’t even know it?”

When will the Dragon awake? Is the real question.

America’s doomed without a mass awakening happening. So far so good from what’s been going on in the last 4 years with Bush Co in the office. Nothing like searing pain to stimulate change. *snicker*

Unfortunately Kerry by all accounts and purposes is a shoe in for the next election. It’s obvious the majority of Americans have NEVER wanted Bush. However voting him in, I fear, is just reinforcing the illusion of a Democratic society. He’s not going to be any better then Bush. He’ll be a smarter face for corporate America but the juggernaut still moves on without a skip. Besides Kerry and Edwards have been blessed by the global elite. Bluer blood is truer blood..and all that rot.

Yet if Bush Co want the election bad enough to steal it, well then all bets are off. We’ll probably have a domestic uprising compounded by mass international craziness. With any luck enough chaos to stimulate some real and meaningful change in the internal power structure here. I would just love to see Bush and Cheney behind bars for crimes.

Oh Boy! Just a few more days! Can’t you just taste the excitement? ;) LOL
