"Hey…was that your tit?"

Posted by Mickey Z on 04/01 at 06:16 AM
  1. My calendar states it is palm sunday and tommorrow passover begins at sundown and passover continues on tuesday and what does all this mean? Does this mean I should pray to the gods of bombs and hope to hell none land on my face since I already need expensive dental work I can’t afford?
Does this mean war mongers define religious holidays for their deciples and people of real religion don’t matter and neither should matter at all, anyway?

  2. A while back some friends of mine started squatting an old hall formerly of a religious fraternity that had closed for the retirement of the señora who ran it. A bunch of local bag thieves broke into the place and put their own lock on it, so me and a mountaneer friend spent a couple of nights practicing to rappel down an interior light court into an open kitchen window. Having no actual chair, my friend fabricated one out of a rope tied around my waist and somehow managed to get my cock caught up in it. Another friend went to the place and knocked on the door, one of the bag thieves waved a gun at him and that was that.

  4. Metaphysics at tea a poem
    by Jose M. Tirado

    Don´t talk about this,
    neither of that.
The one thing that marks each fluid moment
    is this-
that every object present, is not
only seen, but seeing, and yet…

To speak of the lamp or the water as having
    eyes or me in sight,
    leaves the same bitter taste.

You see, the object is really
    not there.
    The subject,
    not here.
    This open experience shining,
pulses from all points at once
    and begins nowhere,
    ending never.

If you know this-it is one thing.
    (A good thing.)
    When you are this-
    it is everything.

  5. For Frances of BC...I have a feeling Frances, you are a genuinely nice human being. Thanks for sharing the poem.

  6. Hello Expendables...from damp, drizzly Astoria.

I’d like to thank Owen for the story, Frances for the poem, and Joe for being Joe. And, btw, the U.S. may be about to really put the good in Good Friday:

  8. Hi RMJ...yeah, just like pigeon dung, the u.s. seems to be everywhere...with less value than pigeon dung…

  10. Some random thoughts on the Palm Sunday march here in Sydney.

A kitchen to feed the homeless was set up next to the stage for the family.  The homeless were fed first and some of them stayed around to listen to the paryers of the various religious leaders.

My party comrades had to leave early to go to a party meeting.  I decided to stay.

The march went through the cafe district where the diners just stared at us.  No words.  Just stares.

The march finished next to a children’s playground.  I don’t remember any of the speeches.  Just the sounds of happy children at play.

This could have been an unintended bracketing of a peace march: feeding the homeless and letting the children play without fear.  Everything else was just noise.

  12. Hello again, everyone.

Frances: Amazing images...but I shudder to imagine the photos of Iran after the U.S. launches a zillion missiles in its direction.

Douglas: Your “random thoughts” were more like poetry for me. Thanks.

  13. It pisses me off to know so many other countries bully’s are in bed with the DC gang...and no one sees the need to confront...and stop this violence. Nice thoughts about “children playing without fear” from Douglas in Sidney...what a great note!

  14. The story of my past month and why I haven’t been so active:

Just have to get this out as it’s all over now. So, a month ago I get infected sinuses and have headaches with shit breathing. Then after sleeping badly cos of that I pinch a nerve in my neck and get numb face/hands and pain for three weeks more - then finally during my follow up at the docs, I mention a spot/mole in my arm that’s been there for years. She says it’s nothing but I could test it if I wanted, then the dermatologist says it only takes the same amount of time to have it out completely - so now I have a hole and three stitches in my arm to complete the hat-trick of bad health this month.

    Boo hoo.

    And Captcha says ‘help’ too.
