OPERATION: BOLIVIA (Dec. 12)

Posted by Mickey Z on 12/09 at 05:29 PM
  1. Hi Sander,

    “Our way of life is sacred” (George W. Bush). What this means is that a Bush-voting American is patriotic, but to what extent? To the extent that the suggestion “we know better what to do with the oil than others” has so far been unspoken, AFAIK.

    Thus, immorality has become mainstream. If you repeat a lie often enough, it will be not only believed but believable. The latter is more important in a society where perception is reality.

    That the spooks were in cahoots with the hijackers is more plausible now than during the first term of the dubya administration. Why? Because no heads rolled in spookville. If anyone with damaging info was singled out then, the chances were good to excellent that they would publicize their evidence.

    Time heals all wounds, but it also invalidates evidence.

    The evidence being leaked now (see the affidvait about programming voting machines) would have been far more impressive in 2000. I suspect Al Gore would have become president.

    For a more indirect, convoluted (?) explanation of the 2004 election results, try this:
    <http://balkin.blogspot.com/2004/12/whats-matter-with-populism.html>

    and this (much better than the first one, I think):
    How the path to nirvana is painted right on the 2004 electoral map.
    <http://www.prospect.org/web/page.ww?section=root&name=ViewWeb&articleId=8917>

    The latter article explains in some detail what are the GOP’s vulnerabilities.

    I am also inspired by made-in-America solutions as described in this article:

    or, “how to get green and grow the economy”.

  2. George,

    This isn’t Sander’s site and I’m not sure what your post has to do with the benefit event. To reach Sander, visit: http://www.sanderhicks.com. In the meantime, when I get a moment, I will check out the links you suggested.

    Thanks,

    Mickey Z.
