The Other 9/11

Posted by Mickey Z on 09/03 at 06:18 AM
  1. exactly 11 years to the day before the NY Sep 11 was the Bush speech to the UN about moving toward a new world order, which I think he´d copped from the Ministry song NWO.

p.s. I recommend Clandestine in Chile by Gabriel Garcia Marquez based on a series of interviews he did with Miguel Littín, a film director exiled after Pinochet coup who returned disguised as a Bolivian businessman to shoot some short films about the state of the country.

  2. Good morning Mickey,

Kissinger really is a piece.  Richard Perleman takes a close second in the display of hubris competition; verbally, of course; nothing beats a cluster bomb when using action to speak louder than words.

I noticed CNN has their war on Iran graphics and google satellite images ready to go and they’ve already begun discussing tactics with the ‘good patriots’ who watch to learn. (I’m quite sure they’re largely the sort of whom GW sr. could be proud)

  3. Good morning Owen - simultyping.

  4. gd´afternoon to you Amelopsis. I noticed during the Iraq invasion in that Centcon media outlet they always had plasma screens showing a map of the world behind the talking heads to implant the idea in viewers that this was an effort supported by everyone.

  5. Yes I noticed the same thing, Owen.
Another thought was ‘Today - Iraq, Tomorrow- the World!’ (read it like a comic strip narration to keep the shudder to a minimum)
    ;)

  6. Good morning everyone from rainy Montreal.

Lots of interesting material today, Mickey.
Wish it was possible for me to be in NYC for the events scheduled for the 5th. anniversary of 9-11.  Hope it will be televised around the world so that those who feel it is the U.S. which poses the greatest threat to mankind right now will see that there is a large element of American society fighting against the evil that has taken and abused the power it was given.

As an aside, there is speculation that Hillary Clinton will not run for President.  This is good news for the Democratice Party, as far as I’m concerned.  I would dearly love to see Feingold as the next U.S. President.  Just my 2 cents worth, as an outsider looking in.

  7. Actually Owen (#1) the looped phrase “A new world order” in that song is actually a sample from that lil’ monster’s abovementioned speech.

    9/11/01.
I add the “01” because of the article I read (here or elsewhere) that stated some thirty percent of Americans can’t remember the year in which that false flag psyop took place.

The persistent invocation of “9/11” sans the “01” creates a wonderfully disconnected atmosphere in which that fateful day is always happening in a strange perpetual vacuum. Live the fear American, eat, sleep, and breathe the fear - forever…

Nearly 3000 dead on that day – hundreds of thousands dead all over the Middle East since that day – Why can’t the US just declare their slaughterfest a victory, (by sheer numbers murdered) and #### off home?

I believe it is because as long as anybody remains a viable threat to the Neocon/Zionist dream of an untouchable “Greater Israel” the killing will continue until this newly applied ‘final solution’ sees every Arab/Persian/Muslim country turned into a microcosmic war zone of tiny warlord’s fiefdoms at perpetual war against each other,
(thus they ignore the Zionist expansionism and manipulations in their midst).

Mission accomplished in Iraq and Afghanistan – Now on to Persia!

  8. Hi Everyone!

Nice comment Youngfox. Oh Man I gotta go dig out my old Ministry tapes now, I’m just johnzen for “Thieves”. I always thought that loop from Bush’s nwo speech was brilliant.

    Here’s a history of significant 9/11’s

  9. Hello Expendables. It’s a perfect weather day here in Astoria so, pardon me as I head outside.

    See you later…

  10. Hey Mickey, whassup??  A quick Google of Your Bush 41 quote says it’s from ‘87.  Not that my opinions change that fast but....
anytime I see “One nation under God” I’ve just gotta get over to Landover Baptist.
I dunno that any of us should take the particular view of GHW Bush as being the view of God.  I guess we’ll find out later.  But if it’s “one nation under God” then I’d’ve thought that included all nationals smile
Meantimes, for me, it’s one nation under a groove.

  11. Hey Sam...have we met? Either way, welcome to the site.

You know, more I think about it, I don’t agree with “One nation” or “under God.” We (and the world) would be much better off if America was actually 6-7 nations instead of one. I know this: When I go to Texas, I sure feel like it’s a different country from NYC.

  12. Sorry man… but I feel that way even just when I cross the East River! Don’t mind me, I just spent too much of my life growing up in Maspeth… so it’s a sunny afternoon (is it still?), so I’m off to a yoga class at a place I found on 9th Avenue, Sonic.

Later… awesome post and comments as always, but must be off now!

  13. What is Sonic yoga?

  14. Ah-- not the type of yoga; the name of the place:

    http://www.sonicyoga.com/

Just a few blocks away, $25 for 2-week beginner pass, a real NY bargain.
