Thoughts inspired by tumors
Morning Mickey,
I sometimes look at people and wonder these sorts of things. It helps. Everyone does have a story, and I hope more than I would assume read more, ponder more, navel gaze less, than I would guess that they do.
The “day“‘s gray here this morning, but so far, so good.

My mother has been battling bowel cancer for the past several years. When she first announced it, I began to look around exactly the way you’ve been doing, Mickey. It’s one of those things that puts the world in perspective.

I was perusing a copy of BusinessWeek a few weeks back, and read that several large co.’s, in particular Kraft are pushing through legislation that will make it easier to label food organic even if it has certain chemicals or is made in a way that would not be considered organic by normal definition. They’re trying to “capitalize on the organic boom.” I mean, you expect it, but the sheer brazenness is somewhat alarming. Sorry to be a downer, but hey, the Yanks won.
