It actually takes more than a gallon of petro to produce the 85/15 blend—MEANWHILE .... FOOD PRICES WORLDWIDE SOAR BECAUSE OF DOUBLE STANDARD DEMAND FOR SUBSIDIZED CORN GROWING—TO FEED ETHANOL PLANTS—AND AT THE SAME TIME DRIVING UP THE RAW FOOD COST TO PRODUCE POST TOASTIES AND CORN FLAKES.. !!!!!!!

ANZAC Day is celebrated each year - on the occasion of the invasion of Turkey on 25 April 1915 in which the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps took part. And contrary to what is being said about the soldiers in these and later wars, they did not fight for our liberties but for ‘King and Country’ - one only has to look at any war memorial. After all, they did not repel invaders in 1915 but were going to invade another country on the other side of the world. And this ANZAC Day gets worse each year - ‘increasing militarisation down under’ are the words that come to this woman’s mind - on another beautiful autumn day.

richie #5...good topics you have there. Ethanol is a scam - just another way of laundering the money to transfer it to those such as Monsanto. And some “experts” are finally saying that oil prices are up because of the the “speculators” (translation “predatory capitalism”.) None of us will be safe until the planet is wiped clean of Capitalism. Anything less than that just won’t work.
