Years, months, days, hours...and all that

  1. What can I say:  great post, great quotes!  And so, so true.

    All best for you yours,
Helga from a not so warm Daylesford

  2. Hi Helga...It is a gray day here. Seems like the sun never shines in the U$A.

I tried to watch the 4 hours of debate last night but fell asleep when the dems started. Ron Paul has a good view of foreign policy so they try to silence him. Rudy is really misinformed. Can he be that dumb or is he just trying to say that which will benefit him most in his persuit of votes?  Unfortunately Ron Paul’s domestic policies would kill many in this country.

Kucinich was kept out of the debate but he will be on the Vermont primary ballot.

  3. RMJ and Helga, good evening...did Ron Paul state he would eliminate the inherent imbalances, ineqities and class discrimination in the workplace?

Did Rudy state anyone making less than $100,000 a year would not have to pay any taxes for the wealthy?

Did either candidate state that the cost of living, which is driven by the very wealthy is the most insane idea invented by humans along with terrorism, by the authorities for social control?

  4. Prosecute Ron Paul, Rudy and even Kucinich-- vote for General Zod:

  5. James..4..I agree...General Zod has my vote...I have no doubt I can persuade others to vote for the Great General Zod as well.

  6. And you’ll see that his platform is not much different than Ron Paul’s. Both are against the expensive and illegal wars in the middle east and elsewhere, and he even has a rather libertarian bent, insofar as wants you to be free to devote as much in tribute to him, in return for our very lives and the freedom to kneel before him.

I think that Kucinich might become his running mate at the last minute.

  7. Hi James, joe, Helga, Mickey, and all…
It has been reported that there will be 10,000 armed guards to keep the president safe from harm when he travels to the mid-east soon. That explains why we haven’t been able to arrest him yet.

  8. ......and what very nice presidential candidate proclaimed it will be in law that all women will receive at least 15 months, fully paid maternity leave...fore we care about people and the well being of our children?

I’m quite sure Hillary would want all women and children to be treated gently, compassionately and fairly.

  9. THE HILLARY HOAX...The question I had for Hillary is why did she remain silent while 500,000 Iraqi children were dying as a result of her husband’s policy. That is bad enough, but did you see Madeleine Albright (who said that the deaths were worth it) on the stage with Hillary a few days ago? How dumb was that!!!

  10. Hi Rosemarie, Joe of Maine and James - more than 2 days later.  We actually had a beautiful summer day today (it is 9:1 pm now):  77 F and a light breeze.  It could be like this all year round.

Re Ron Paul:  here is an interesting CounterPunch article:

If I were American, I’d probably vote for Kucinich, but is he even a candidate?

All best for all of you and for you, Micky,
    Helga from down under

  11. ‘Kucinich was kept out of the debate but he will be on the Vermont primary ballot.’

That’s good news, Rosemarie (#2)!  Forgive my ignorance - so Kucinich will be a candidate.
