Don't you just love these academic types?

In a Sept. 16 article at ZNet
(http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cfm?SectionID=1&ItemID=6237), Lawrence S. Wittner writes:

“One of the most striking facts about the modern world is that, for the past 58 years, we have managed to avoid nuclear war...Since August 1945, no nation has attacked another with nuclear weapons.”

One must wonder if Wittner, a professor of history at the State University of New York-Albany, has ever heard of depleted uranium.
