Endangered Safari

(One post for both Saturday and Sunday)

These goddamned hippie food nazis
would have you believe there aren’t any
friggin’ animals left on the planet
So, I went on an expedition in a Ford Expedition
(next to a sequoia, right there on the Interstate)

Discovered cardinals in Arizona and Missouri
Orioles and ravens in Baltimore, seahawks in Seattle
Eagles in Philly, hawks and falcons in Atlanta
Ducks in Cali and blue jays north of the border

Along the highway, dodged impalas and mustangs
and broncos (especially in Denver)
Colts and rams in Middle America
A bull or two in the Windy City

Southwest for coyotes and diamondbacks
Up north for lynx, timberwolves, and bucks

Bears and their cubs in Chicago, bruins in Boston
Cougars panthers tigers lions jaguars bengals
in various cities and parking lots
Pumas in gyms and schoolyards all over the damn place

Dolphins and marlins and devil rays in FLA
Sharks in San Jose
(Even found some raptors lingering in Canada)

You should never trust a tree hugger…
