Fabio: "They cannot keep up with me"

Storytelling Saturday shows some heart

Once upon a time...

When I was working in the Vertical Club, Fabio—the face that launched a thousand romance novels—was a regular in the weight room. He was also something of a joke to the gym staff with his endless sexual bragging and his chest-revealing outfits. And FYI: Fabio’s description of the opposite sex was anything but romantic. “Women, I spit on them,” he’d say. “I #### them for hours and do not break a sweat. They cannot keep up with me.”

He once told me that for him, the Vertical Club was “like a candy store. I see what I want and I take it.”

Who else wants to spin a yarn?

More from Fabio: In case you didn’t know this, Fabio not only poses for romance novels...he writes ‘em, too. Here’s a taste of his style:

He smiled roguishly when he felt her squirm against him, the way she always had.
“You feel how much I want you?” he asked raggedly, looking down at her.
“I feel it.”
He searched her expression for the sign that she wanted him to keep going—the helpless desire, the wanton abandonment he had seen there so many times before.
What he saw instead shook him to the core.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want him. Far from it.
But this wasn’t a naive girl surrendering to mindless passion.
It was a woman fully in control, a seductive woman thoroughly aware of what she was doing to him with every slight, deliberate movement of her hips.
For a moment, he faltered.
Then she lifted her lips and swept his mouth into a deep, brazen kiss.
And he knew he was past the point of no control.

What probably happened next:
