Happy 18th "birthday" to my Dad
My father was really born on December 10...but on July 26, 1990, he had open heart surgery. He survived (not without consequences) and my Mom and I started calling July 26 “Dad’s other birthday.” This year is the first July 26 without my Mom...so I thought I’d wish my Dad a happy birthday right here.
